These conditions govern your use of aureneum.com and your general dealings with Aureneum Limited. They apply to everyone who visits the site. If you hold a subscription to the Aureneum research library, that relationship is governed separately by the Terms of Service.

1. Who we are

aureneum.com is operated by Aureneum Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16790273, registered office 158 Bedford Road, Kempston, Bedford MK42 8BH, United Kingdom. Legal Entity Identifier 648826X7MMDGCW920112.

References to Aureneum, we, us and our mean Aureneum Limited. Aquila, our client application, and any other division or product name we use are brands of Aureneum Limited and not separate legal entities. Contact: legal@aureneum.com.

Where these conditions and the Terms of Service conflict on any matter concerning the library, the client application, or a subscription, the Terms of Service prevail.

3. What this website is

This website is a point of contact and a specimen of our work. Its purpose is to allow institutional and professional readers to express interest in Aureneum, to set out what access costs and how it is bought, and to publish papers in full so that our standard can be judged before any commitment is made.

Our research library is not published on this website. It is available only through Aquila, our client application, under tiered access, to clients we have onboarded.

The prices and terms on this website describe what we offer by invitation. They are not an offer that can be accepted: a subscription is offered only in a private invitation, and expressing interest does not create a client relationship. We decide whom we invite, and we are not obliged to give reasons.

A private purchase page exists for clients we have invited. It opens only from a link we send, it is not linked from any public page, and it sells nothing to anyone who has not been invited. Use of that page is governed by the Terms of Service.

4. Acceptance

By accessing this website you accept these conditions. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. You must be at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

5. Nothing here is financial advice

Aureneum Limited is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Nothing published by Aureneum constitutes financial advice, a personal recommendation, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument, or an invitation to engage in investment activity. Nothing published by Aureneum takes account of your objectives, financial situation or needs. You should take your own professional advice before acting on anything you read here.

The value of investments can fall as well as rise. Past performance is not a guide to future performance.

6. Use of the site

You may read, download and print material from this site for your own reference and for the internal purposes of your organisation.

You must not:

• use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent or defamatory purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system, or probe, scan or test its security;
• interfere with the operation of the site, or impose an unreasonable load on it;
• scrape, harvest or systematically extract content from the site;
• use any content from the site to train, fine-tune, evaluate or ground a machine learning model, or to build a competing product or dataset, without our prior written permission;
• misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person.

7. Papers published in full

Where we publish a paper in full on this site, you may read it, download it, print it, and circulate it unaltered and with its attribution intact within your own organisation. You may not sell it, publish it elsewhere, present it as your own work, alter it, or extract from it in a way that changes its meaning.

Publishing it does not place it in the public domain and does not waive any right in it.

8. Intellectual property

The Aureneum name and marks, the content of this site, and the research papers and white papers made available to clients, are owned by or licensed to Aureneum Limited and protected by copyright and trade mark law.

You may quote short extracts for the purposes of comment, criticism, review or news reporting, provided you attribute them to Aureneum Limited and do not distort their meaning. Beyond that, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, adapt or commercially exploit our content without our prior written consent. Reasonable requests are usually granted. 9. Accuracy and availability

We take care over what we publish, but research is a matter of judgement and information changes. The content of this site is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that it is complete, current or free from error, and we are not obliged to update it.

We do not guarantee that the site will be available uninterrupted or free from faults. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it without notice.

10. Correspondence and telephone

Where you contact us by email or by telephone, we will read or listen to what you send and reply where a reply is appropriate. We do not undertake to reply to every message, and we do not treat an unanswered message as creating any obligation on us.

If we cannot take your call, you may leave a voicemail. A voicemail is recorded so that we can return the call, and it is kept only as the Privacy Notice describes. Calls are not otherwise recorded or transcribed. If that changes, we will say so at the start of the call and update the Privacy Notice before it does.

11. Third-party links

Where we link to another website, we do so for information. We do not control those sites, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

12. Our liability

Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or from reliance on anything published on it.

If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights the law gives you, and nothing in these conditions affects them.

13. Privacy

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these conditions. This website sets no cookies.

14. Changes

We may amend these conditions. The issue date at the top of this page tells you which version applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the amended conditions. Changes to these conditions do not vary any subscription already in force, which is dealt with in the Terms of Service.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

Before commencing proceedings we ask that you raise the matter with us at legal@aureneum.com so that we have a fair opportunity to resolve it. This does not limit your right to go to court.
