These terms govern your use of aureneum.com and of any research, publication or material we make available through it. Please read them before relying on anything published here.
1. Who we are
aureneum.com is operated by Aureneum Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16790273, registered office 158 Bedford Road, Kempston, Bedford MK42 8BH, United Kingdom. Legal Entity Identifier 648826X7MMDGCW920112.
References to Aureneum, we, us and our mean Aureneum Limited. Aquila is our proprietary client application, referred to here as the Aquila App; it is a product name, not a separate legal entity. Contact: legal@aureneum.com.
2. What this website is
This website is a point of contact. Its purpose is to allow institutional and professional clients to express interest in Aureneum. It carries no forms, no accounts and no client area.
Our research library is not published on this website. It is available only through the Aquila App, under tiered access, to clients we have onboarded. Access to the application and to the library is governed by the separate client terms agreed with you at onboarding, not by these terms. Where the two conflict on a matter concerning the application, the client terms prevail.
Nothing on this website is an offer to provide services, and expressing interest does not create a client relationship. We decide whom we onboard.
3. Acceptance
By accessing this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. You must be at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
4. Nothing here is financial advice
Aureneum Limited is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Nothing published by Aureneum constitutes financial advice, a personal recommendation, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument, or an invitation to engage in investment activity. Nothing published by Aureneum takes account of your objectives, financial situation or needs. You should take your own professional advice before acting on anything you read here.
The value of investments can fall as well as rise. Past performance is not a guide to future performance.
5. Use of the site
You may read, download and print material from this site for your own reference and for the internal purposes of your organisation.
You must not:
- use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent or defamatory purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system, or probe, scan or test its security;
- interfere with the operation of the site, or impose an unreasonable load on it;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content for the purpose of building or training a competing product or dataset, without our written permission;
- misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person.
6. Intellectual property
The Aureneum and Aquila names and marks, the content of this site, and the research papers and white papers made available through the Aquila App, are owned by or licensed to Aureneum Limited and protected by copyright and trade mark law.
You may quote short extracts for the purposes of comment, criticism, review or news reporting, provided you attribute them to Aureneum Limited and do not distort their meaning. Beyond that, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, adapt or commercially exploit our content without our prior written consent. Reasonable requests are usually granted. 7. Accuracy and availability
We take care over what we publish, but research is a matter of judgement and information changes. The content of this site, and of anything we make available through the Aquila App, is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that it is complete, current or free from error, and we are not obliged to update it.
We do not guarantee that the site will be available uninterrupted or free from faults. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it without notice.
8. Third-party links
Where we link to another website, we do so for information. We do not control those sites, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or from reliance on anything published on it.
If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights the law gives you, and nothing in these terms affects them.
10. Privacy
We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms. This website sets no cookies.
11. Changes
We may amend these terms. The issue date at the top of this page tells you which version applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the amended terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
Before commencing proceedings we ask that you raise the matter with us at legal@aureneum.com so that we have a fair opportunity to resolve it. This does not limit your right to go to court.
